Laura Trammell joined Hecht and Norman in December 2020. Originally from England, Laura moved to Oregon in August 2020 so has recent first-hand experience of the immigration rollercoaster. She graduated from the University of Cambridge with an B.A. in Music in 2015, and subsequently obtained and M.Litt in Theology, Imagination and the Arts from the University of St. Andrews (2018), and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Cambridge (2019). 

Having exchanged secondary school music teaching for immigration law, Laura is passionate about helping individuals on a personal level. Her past experiences of living abroad (Belgium, Germany, Italy) and of working in highly multi-cultural school environments have prepared her well for interacting with clients from a wide variety of backgrounds. She is passionate about getting to know clients individually and hearing their stories.

In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, playing the piano, baking and gardening.
