We are a law firm in Oregon that practices exclusively United States immigration law. We are the largest immigration law office in the Willamette Valley.

We assist individuals, for-profit companies, and non-profit organizations by providing immigration expertise competently, efficiently, and promptly. We find the best solutions to each immigration challenge by carefully listening to and assessing each person’s situation.
Working closely with our clients, we prepare immigrant and non-immigrant visas, applications for permanent residence and provide relief from removal and deportation proceedings. Our attorneys and staff are dedicated, talented, and tireless. Our staff members are fluent in Spanish, and many of us speak other languages as well.

Raquel E. Hecht has been an Immigration Lawyer in the State of Oregon since 1993. She is the founding partner of the law firm of Hecht & Norman, LLP, with offices in Eugene and Salem, Oregon. Her past activities include: Vice-President of the Lane Arts Council, Board Member of the Eugene Research Institute, Chair of the International Youth Exchange Committee for Rotary and Member of the Rotary International Friendship Exchange Committee for the District, Volunteer Reader at the French Immersion School, Member of the Education and Outreach Committee of the Human Rights Commission, Member of the Eugene Police Commission, Founding member of Grupo Latino de Accion Directa (GLAD), a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of underrepresented people in the political process.
Teuta V. Norman is one of the founding partners of Hecht & Norman, LLP. Since 2001, she has been practicing in all areas of immigration and citizenship law with a specific focus on providing pro-active and long term solutions to physicians, nurses, physical therapists and other healthcare professionals, athletes, coaches, religious workers, and trainees. Teuta also provides expertise on business-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas related to investors, national interest waivers, aliens of extraordinary ability, and outstanding researchers. Her clients include a number of hospitals and health clinics, public and private schools, and information technology and manufacturing companies.
